Overview

I designed the WAKE UP MUSEUM VR Game UX as part of the NYU Professional Certificate in UX Design for AR/VR program. This project immerses users in a thrilling VR shooting game experience, taking you on a journey into the realm of UX design within the exciting world of VR game development.

On this portfolio page, I offer a glimpse into the initial stages of UX design for WAKE UP MUSEUM. My design process unfolded through storyboarding, low-fidelity prototyping, and a series of iterative cycles involving user testing and design refinements.
Storyboard
In WAKE UP MUSEUM, players assume the role of vigilant guardians of art as they encounter smugglers attempting to steal precious masterpieces. Armed with a virtual shooting mechanism, users take aim at smugglers, defending the art within the immersive setting of an art museum.
Smugglers and users can chase each other by entering a painting, experiencing the 3D space of originally 2-dimensional artwork. The choice of an art museum as the primary environment was deliberate, aiming to infuse the experience with fun, dynamism, and thematic diversity as players progress through multiple rounds.
